The fight never ends.

Stumbled upon an interesting video about the war on camera brands. Looks like the world of cameras just isnt that different compared to the human world, where differences do predominate the scene. I wonder why is that so. Beneath the layers of the skin, the vocal slits and the hair. We all have the same structure, with the same bone composition, the same variety of blood types. Yet we all think we're different. How interesting.

You have to admit that it does have a catchy tune to it. LOL.

Of course there is no objections to being special. Be special in your unique way. Like this transparent nikon d80.

Or this concept Nova camera by Canon.

Genius? Or retard, its up to you to perceive. That makes us special.

What we do when we're supposed to study.

Well heres an interesting insight on what we like to do when were forced to study.

We give in to the devil of temptation : FACEBOOK.

To think of all the time spent on this geniusly conceived application. By the way was made by some Harvad students who thought that while wasting their own time, why not waste every one elses?

The pattern of how facebook envelopes (i mean consumes) your soul (more or less) kinda works in the same way for most of us.

Firstly :

You visit http://www.facebook.com just because your friends are doing it. (suckers)

Then:

You sign up because its free, (yes, thats how cheap we are) and on top of that its a brilliant site to communicate with those long lost kindrgarden friends of yours.

Soon:

You find yourself frantically uploading pics of yourself, searching for primary or secondary photos to tag your friends in. Why? Because its fun tagging someone digging a bugger on camera.

Then some wiseguys came up with addictive programs like rock legends, pet society, mafia wars and not to mention games which people like to train how to trap virtual mice and ghosts. As if you would actually know what to do when you really encounter one. (No guys.. if there were such thing as an assasin mouse you'd be dead before you could take out your pokeball to catch it)

When:

All the stuff you played becomes boring, you succumb to doing quizzes about yourselves, to find our who you trully are, or hoping that you arent bulbasaur in "which pokemon are you?" because you think that bulbasaur is retarded. All these efforts are necessary due to the fact that the mirror you look in everyday doesnt work like the one in snow white.

Id rather be charmander.

Then there are the quizzes made by your friends, its like how they "test" your friendship. And when you becom dulan because you only fared 10% and they say that you have mou yi hei, you create a quiz on your own to give yourself the oppourtunity of saying the same thing back.

Before you know it:

You have become a facebook zombie. By this i mean stalking others pages more than once an hour. Or refreshing your home page twice a second. You feed on the happenings of others. Because you know deep down in your heart that peoples mood changes every second, and you dont want to miss "liking" someones post or link.

And at most desperate times, because of how avidly your zombie friends are roaming around the fbsphere, you know that you can just rely on facebook as a lost and found post with immediate replies. (wtf right?)

This is how rapidly the responses came in. This is where john came in too. (under HooiLam's name) Onion design - -

Guess that i myself couldnt miss out the fun too. :)

Guess the craze is catching on.

You'll never know what hit you.

So far nothing much has been up, been busy with reading online facts, a wee bit of studying (too little i guess) sleeping, and probably everything else that doesn't contribute to my bodies health. I lost my cam to a seemingly irritating black hole that recently occurred in my house, stealing random stuff. I came to a conclusion that it really is a black hole vortex instead of a thief due to its mysterious and random nature. Firstly it stole/warped two, and only two things.

1. My cannon ixus75

2. Sam's Bovril (imported from malaysia)

Well for those who doesnt know what borvil is, its actually cow extract (not from the lower extremities) It goes perfect with porridge for those who wants to taste some beefy porridge, or some eat it with bread to have beefy bread.

I guess these stuffs are abit too random for a thief to steal. (except the camera)

Aside praying for the camera to return, I did find some interesting medical facts. Courtesy of HealthRanker.com

Btw, the words in brackets wasnt initially there.

1) Motorists who talk on cell phones are more impaired than drunk drivers with blood-alcohol levels exceeding .08!

2) Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour. (YAY!)

3) Some parts of the world protect their babies from disease by bathing them in beer. (I guess thats where all the excessive drunkards are born.)

4) The word ‘gymnasium’ comes from the Greek word gymnazein which means ‘to exercise naked.’ (But apparently they dont follow the ancient traditions, shame on you)

5) There are more than 1,000 chemicals in a cup of coffee. Of these, only 26 have been tested, and half caused cancer in rats. (No more coffee bean for me, starbucks will do just fine.)

6) The average American eats at McDonalds more than 1,800 times in their life. (Who can resist with a tagline that says "im lovin it"?

7) A hard working adult sweats up to 4 gallons per day. (note: HARD working. Not you.)

8) There are more bacteria in your mouth than there are people in the world. (This i dont think so.)

9) According to U.S. FDA standards, 1 cup of orange juice is allowed to contain 10 fruit fly eggs, but only 2 maggots. (How considerate, they want to supply ample protein supply, but at the same time considering the hazards.)

10) Apples are more efficient than caffeine in keeping people awake in the morning.

11) Strawberries have more Vitamin C than oranges.

12) You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television. (Sleep more watch less!)

13) It is possible to go blind from smoking too heavily. (We'll be surrounded by blind smokers! Hopefully they dont turn up in clubs, or else there's gonna be a fire issue.)

14) Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people do. (More lives to spend! YAY!)

15) You are about 1 centimeter taller in the morning than in the evening! (No wonder nobody goes for dates in the morning)

16) During your lifetime, you’ll eat about 60,000 pounds of food, that’s the weight of about 6 elephants. (THATS IT?)

17) If you fart consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb! (John can supply this.)

One of my favorite wall signs, of course its alot more fun when someone else does it.

Lifes Brief Candle.

And sometimes i ponder, wondering what lies behind this facade of life.

A child, so innocent and pure, bursting with ideas and innovations in thier mind, a world leader in the making, with dreams so big that can fill a lifetime, wakes up only to see that his hair had turned white, his beard scrapy, and his dreams are all vanishing one by one.

As a child, i had dreams, well who doesnt? But in my opinion, i really believed in those dreams. I embraced it and i cherished it, believeing that one day those dreams would evolve into reality. And as i grew, some of those dreams still stayed close to me. But i guess a number of them didnt stick. Did they become false silver linings? Or did i just grow out of them?

Well from what i noticed from the people nowdays is that people stop believeing. Believing in anything at all, not even themselves. Believing in achieving the dreams that they have always wanted to. I wonder if that really is a part of growing up. Or is that just the reality where people are accustomed to.

In my opinion, nothing is ultimate. There is no definite ending to any story. Some people might say they know, how a certain story is going to turn out. BUT i believe its the effort you put in to change such an ending that makes a difference. Its not who you are going to be but who you WANT to be that makes your life in your hands. Giving yourself the ultimatum.

I recently read a quote that says:

"He who thinks he knows the ending of things before they begin is either a very wise person or an idiot. Regardless, he is unhappy for he hast drove a knife into the heart of wonder."

-Osten Ard

Why let others decide how your life turns? Thats my question.

Life is only as meaningful as how you want it to be. The things you choose to do, the life you choose to live, let it all be your choices, the responsibility is yours and you take the glory for every success and the lessons from every downfall.

Oh yeah, and theres a vid i would like to share. cool song. but gay clad singer. I wonder if it was his choice. Its called DONT STOP BELIEVING. by Journey.

Happy birthday to me!

And that completing what might be 1/5th or 1/4 of my life, i gracefully turned 21 today! Thanks to the great people i have around me who made my birthday something really enjoyable. There was booze, great food, more booze, cool presents, cakes, and some people dressed up in police uniforms. (It really isn't what you would expect)

Well firstly we celebrated the food session at the place called teegeeeyeeff. Or fridays for shorts, here the people worship the guy named Jack.

Well the beer was about 6/10 due to the fact that it wasnt entirely cold. But the buss effect that we got was nice, not a killer, but something nice to enjoy to while your friends start talking funny.

Presents i got from my housemates,

1. Something uber random, but sweet in some ways. (you wont really consider it sweet if ur staying in msia or anywhere you can find it) but for us, its considered sweet. :)

Its called..........................................................

2. Somehow my friends really go to great extents to making a bday special. Like 'taking' this ZARA rubber stamp from the cashier. Kudos to sam for performing this great performance.

3. A nice coat. thanks guys for chipping in. :) bing, jolin, raj! thanks guys.

4. headset! wanted one for some time.

5. and a razer mouse.

What more can i ask for. :)

The birthday cake was swell and original. Best of all, the most expensive part of the cake was the candles.

And bout the people dressed up in police uniforms, yeah, i got arrested on my 21st birthday, well what can i say, there always is a 1st for everything. Unfortunately i dont have any pics to show you guys but a computer but this i what i swear it looked like.

For the real story, actually i was just out getting some groceries when john and i was stopped by 3 cops with thier small cocks. And i guess thats what you get in russia witht the cops who i must say, are super racist. If you think the RM 50 bribing on the way back from mont kiara is bad. You just havent seen this yet. In actual fact, i sat in a cop car, drove around for about 10 mins, with 3 fat smelly asses before settling the score.

2009 already? Who would have thought.

Well then again, back to reality from all the funny quirky home parties i had for the last christmas and new years day. Back to those chores left for me to do, books to hit and also that messy desk i DEFINITELY need to clear.

I guess new years is really an overrated day, besides the partying and the friends, its really just an average day but in which you get to throw your calendar, your old organizer and maybe some old underwear out the window, or maybe you should consider trashing the underwear into a bin. Then again, its the day where people make up new resolutions, new excuses for missing work, practically everything new to give them a head start on the new year ahead.

Ever wonder how life brought you here? Or how many life altering years which made you standing where you are right now?

Well i have gave this issue a lot of thought over the years. On how my parents, my girlfriend, my friends, and almost everyone around me molded me into who i am today. A big thank you.

But in the end, I guess it was really me who made me into me. For all the choices that ive made along this path of 20 years, the procrastination, the lifestyle and all the desicions i have made, gave me the exact person i am right now. Well not to say im entirely happy about it. There are so many changes and improovements i can make right now, and i guess 2009 would be a good year to make some of those changes.

1. start a tshirt clothing line online. (wow it rhymes)

2. Be motivated at all times, never letting something bring my mojo down.

3. Tie tighter knots with the people who care for me.

4. living life to a fuller level by increasing my knowledge on things. My aim is to learn at least something new on every day.

well i can think about only 4 main ones at the moment. guess ill put on some more later.

Stich the Humping dog.

Here's an advert for Humphrey the Humping dog.

A stuffed toy Chihuahua. Watch out for Humphrey the humping dog and his unique brand of affection! Attach his front paws to any object, give his ear a squeeze and watch as this little dog barks and gyrates doggy style. Take Humphrey the humping dog anywhere and watch as he humps anything he can get his paws onto. Nothing gives Humphrey greater pleasure than having the straps on his front legs attached to an unsuspecting victim so he can hump away at their leg getting progressively faster and noisier culminating in a satisfied sigh of relief. Choose from either fullsized 10" tall Humphrey, or little mini 8" tall Humphrey. Both will hump the crap out of everything they see!

Get them fast! They go for $29.89 each!

Fortunately for my own entertainment, i need not buy that particular dog. Since the one at my house does just the same thing, well at a much higher price tho.

Here are a picture of our 2 dogs, well guess which one is the humper,

and which is the humped?

Exhibit B

Made Your guess? Now take a look at this video.

Now isnt that a bitch?

What WE eat in Russia.

Recently fascinated on how food blogs attract so many readers, i decided to post about stuff that we eat here. Honestly Russian food sucks, besides the kebab rolls that they sell by the roadside. Which look like this. Here its called Shawrma (sha-w-ur-ma)

Yeap, this is the best you can get with tight strings on your pockets.

Its tender roasted meat garnished with onions, cabbage, cucumbers, a hint of pickles and all topped with some special sauce, (or if you dont know how to make this super special sauce, you can buy it in the supermarket)

Think this delicious looking meat roll is healthy? Well there has been a lot of hype a year ago about why they should ban this yummy thing called kebab, due to its suspicious origin,

Nobody really knows what is inside that lump of meat.

Heres a picture of the largest ever made.

Best part is, the kebab stalls are at the roadside. Practically unstoppable if you want to track them down with possibly no license, nor registrations.
and not to mention their suspicious looking chefs. With borat accents.

Kebabs comes in various forms, some of them look like shit. (i mean literally.)

Some like chopped up shit.

Some like Chinese style.

Some like square and italian

Some like it Indian style. ------------ >(hairy)

Some just love it so much, they become a kebab themselves.

(i REALLY don't know what meat is this made of now.)

Why we love russia.

1. Bears

Here's a picture of them asking for food.

2. Chicks

They even made shirts for them. If your going clubbing in Russia, this shirt is sure to score.

If you ask me, they're kinda overrated. Basically they all look more or less the same. Either they all are just beautiful, or they were a product of an uber serious inbreeding case. Well who knows.

3. Cops

Who doesnt? If you hav forgotten your passport or your visa, you better avoid these bloodsucking assholes. If not you're in for a ride to some lockup where they try to make money out of you, or maybe you can buy yourself out by giving them a BJ. Cops can sometimes be lonely.

Sometimes when too lonely.

4. Food

Here's a step by step guide on preparing your own russian gourmet.
  1. Take a buttload of oil.
  2. 1/4 chicken breast (so it can suck up the oil)
  3. some flour. (God knows why dont they sell cornstarch here.)
  4. some funny herbs and leafs. You can obtain these at the nearest grocery store. Or if your low on cash, get it from your garden. Look for some leaves which look like you've seen them in your favorite itallian resturant.
Methods:
Pour in the buttload of oil. Make sure its hot. If you dont know how to check, ask your mother. Or you could try dipping just abit of your pinky in. put the 1/4 chicken breast into the oil, coat it with the powder, and stir fry. wait for about 10 mins. Take it out, and garnish with the leaves you found.

Voila. you get this:

5. Thank God we hav McD's

6. They dont know how to line up

This doesnt make alot of sense. As a NORMAL human being, we all can understand why the Q-up line has to be done like this.

Sensibly it makes the whole place more space efficient and more organized. (ok.. cutting the crap. WHAT OTHER WAY IS IT POSSIBLE TO LINE UP?)

You may be suprised, due to the uber creativity of russians, they like to bend sideways. Not only that, they also have deviced many different ways of lining up.

*Unfortunately i have no pictures to show you guys, but im assuring you that this is 100% NOT bullshit. (I shall take some of this pics to proove my point later)

For now, i shall use stickmen as my model. (mind you i used alot of time to do this)

The sideway style.

What on earth is this. So instead of the vertical lines, you get these ridiculously stupid horizontal ones. So every counter can hold 3-4 ppl untill the person bumps into the other person from the subsequent counter, thus the last counter has a massively long line. In this lineup, the maximum amount of ppl lining up depends on how long your store counter is. @*!&#^$*&%!@#*&^!@

And my personal favourite.

The i dont give a f*ck style. It happens 100% of the time.

This needs no explanation. WTF.
